WE ALL NEED AN EDITOR

A client called the other day to say that she had submitted her manuscript to the publisher and the lady asked "did you have someone edit this? It's VERY well written, that's not how it usually goes, you'd be surprised!"

My client turned friend said she just wanted to tell me that the quality of my work did not go unnoticed by this nationally acclaimed publisher (and that the coins sent my way were clearly well spent).

Copy editing isn't a thing I advertise that I do or am good at. But y'all, I'm an excellent editor, and your writing will definitely be more clear after you let me get my hands on it.

A side benefit of being a client of mine is getting access to my editor's brain (if you want it). It's simply part of the eclectic collection of skills that are mashed together in my proverbial toolkit.
