THREE WAYS TO STAY IN THE FLOW WHEN YOU WANT TO SAY &$#K IT ALL

More than a dozen entrepreneurs told me week before last that they were wanting to burn their businesses to the ground because nothing was going well or working properly. Which is to say, it’s not just you if you’ve been feeling that way!

There are simple ways to shake the doom/blah/yeahbutts off and get back into your groove. Especially if you feel like no one ever manages to say the thing that gets you to unzip your fuckits for good, try these on for size:

  1. Put a reminder of your end goal somewhere on your body between elbows and fingertips so that you’ll see it many times a day and be reminded by it.

    PRO TIPS:

    1. Change your ‘usual’ to create un-ignorable reminders to practice.

    2. When you become blind to it, time to switch it up!

  2. Ask yourself, “Is this in service to my biggest goals?”. Pay attention to what matters most and ignore the rest.

    PRO TIPS:

    1. Especially when you’re perseverating, ask into it. What are the assumptions you’re making?

    2. When you’re writing that text/email (and scowling), who benefits?

  3. Feel the feels allllll the way through to the other side instead of shaming yourself for them or ignoring them.

    PRO TIPS:

    1. Set a timer for an hour or so, and let yourself stomp around and shout/cry/whine about how hard things are. Then be done with it.

    2. Use your phone-a-friend to get a reality check from a trusted person in your life.

Pay attention to what works so in the future you know which approaches helped you move through “stuck” and into “sturdy”.

Your power is in the pause. Learn to use it to your advantage and see what happens.

I suggest that you stay willing to do this badly for as long as it takes to get better at it. We can’t do what we’re meant to do here if we’re stuck in the muck and feeling lost! Come to think of it, 🦆ducks 🦆have feet made for walking on mucky surfaces; maybe Siri is on to something after all!

You’re welcome to hit reply and gimmie some updates about how this feels to try on for a bit.
