THREE REASONS IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT YOU’RE INCONSISTENT

Most of us (perhaps all?) have those things that would shore us up, create abundance, or foster satisfaction… if only we could ever get them done. So many of the coaches I speak to each week say that they’re feeling badly about how inconsistent they are with (INSERT RELEVANT THING). Whether it’s social posts, emails, outreach, sales activities, tapping, networking, etc., many of these actions can feel like impossible tasks, and I’m here to tell you that it’s so totally not your fault. Here are three reasons I say that’s so:

  1. RESISTANCE IS A TEACHER, NOT AN ENEMY.

🐛 Our avoidance points to what we care most about.

🦋 Get clear about what feels threatening; identify what will set you free

  2. CULTURAL REALITIES HAVE US ALL KNOTTED UP.

🐛 The current state of the world has us all complicated, twisted up, confused, and isolated.

🦋 Disconnection is an illusion; there is only oneness.

  3. THE MACHINE THRIVES ON OUR DISTRACTION.

🐛 Our tech is designed to prevent us from slowing down enough to be truly creative and purposefully aligned.

🦋 Continuous partial attention isn’t effective; block out time to focus.

SUMMARY - WE’VE BEEN MISLED TO BELIEVE THAT OUR PRODUCTIVITY IS OUR VALUE. WHEN YOU’RE A BRILLIANT GENIUS WITH MORE IDEAS THAN YOU COULD POSSIBLY MAKE HAPPEN IN THIS LIFETIME, THE IDEA OF REST CAN FEEL LIKE A TOTAL MIND FUCK.

It’s not your fault that things are hard. Things are hard. Life is hard… and that’s okay.

You can do hard things.

I’m curious to know what happens for you if you slow down a little. What’s one small step you could take today to get clear about what your mountain/molehill situation is and identify where you’d like to focus your attention and actions for the first quarter of the year.

Do you have a sense of what needs to be on your plate for you to get where you want to be?

Want to talk about it? Maybe book a tea chat and let’s!
